1. Information We Collect

When you use Throowave, we collect information you provide directly:

  • Account information: email address, name, and organization details when you sign up.
  • Tournament data: tournament names, team names, schedules, and related configuration you create.
  • Registration data: information submitted by team managers through your registration forms (names, emails, phone numbers, and any custom fields you configure).
  • Payment information: processed securely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers.

We also automatically collect:

  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, and general analytics via Vercel Analytics and Mixpanel.
  • Device information: browser type, operating system, and screen size for improving the experience.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and maintain the Throowave service.
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions.
  • To send transactional emails (registration confirmations, payment receipts, account notifications).
  • To improve the product based on usage patterns.
  • To respond to support requests.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Data Sharing

We share data only with services necessary to operate Throowave:

  • Supabase: database and authentication hosting.
  • Stripe: payment processing.
  • Resend: transactional email delivery.
  • Vercel: application hosting and analytics.
  • Mixpanel: product analytics.

Each provider processes data according to their own privacy policies and applicable data protection laws.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Tournament and registration data is retained for as long as you maintain those records. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), secure authentication, and row-level database security. Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe and never touches our servers.

6. Your Rights

You can:

  • Access, update, or delete your account information at any time from your profile page.
  • Export your tournament data via CSV export.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use analytics cookies (Vercel Analytics, Mixpanel) to understand how the product is used. No advertising cookies are used.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice.
