Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Throowave, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Throowave is a tournament and league scheduling platform. We provide tools for creating schedules, managing team registrations, collecting payments, and publishing schedules publicly.

3. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

4. Free Trial and Subscription

  • New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full access to all features.
  • After the trial, a paid subscription is required to continue using the service.
  • Subscriptions are billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

5. Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing or collecting registration fees through Throowave, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service. Tournament organizers who collect registration fees via Stripe Connect are responsible for their own Stripe account and compliance.

6. Your Content

  • You retain ownership of all content you create on Throowave (tournaments, schedules, registration data).
  • You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide the service.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of content you create and data you collect through registration forms.
  • You are responsible for obtaining any necessary consent from individuals whose data you collect via registration forms.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service.
  • Use automated means to access the service beyond normal API usage.

8. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions.

9. Limitation of Liability

Throowave is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. Significant changes will be communicated via email.
